What a fantastic day we had on Friday at Crosby Marina, all the children enjoyed the water sports activities, they took part in kayaking, raft building, climbing a wall, orienteering and problem solving. Laughter could be heard from each group as they all jumped into the marina – brrr cold water.
Today, Monday, we all carried on sewing our slippers, they children are making a slipper from felt and using thread to sew, yes, even the chaps. What a good job you are all doing. See you soon.

What a busy we are having in 6R, Monday – making christmas things with Mrs McDermott, Tuesday was PARTTTTTYYYYY day, watched a dvd – Spongebob Square Pants please!!! Party in the afternoon, dancing to some tunes, pass the parcel, corners then cut the chocolate block with a knife and fork. What fun was had by all, after that we all sat down and ate our party food, Mrs Richards, Miss Clay, Mr Hardwick and myself (Mrs Hardwick) had a lovely cup of coffee!! Hometime came very quickly. Today, Wednesday, the whole class worked in groups desiging and creating their shelters, what fantastic ideas. Steven, Luis, John and Lewis created a masterpiece – an IGLOO -, it was amazing!! Some of the other shelters included a cafe, market stall, plane hanger, to name a a few. Look forward to finishing them off tomorrow. This afternoon we started to watch Home Alone, I was sad I missed that, that is one of my favourite films. Well, lets see what tomorrow brings …
